Our involvement in the forestry sector extends to supporting everything within the industry From full site clearance to ground prep.  We’ve been part of countless projects that have required us to complete to the highest level, new forest roads and repairs to existing, cut and fill for timber lay down areas, brash raking and recovery, forestry ground prep, drainage which include V drains and infrastructure drainage and mulching. All of these tasks are completed by operators with numerous years of experience and expertise with all relevant CPCS/FMOC certifications.

This sector of the business is something in which we feel extremely passionate about. Our work on habitat creation and restoration works to peatland sites, wetlands and all manner of other scientifically significant areas has taken us all over the country to some of the most unique and rare habitats available in the uk. A lot of projects in this have included the creation of new and repairs to wetlands, altering flows and shape of streams and rivers for ecological benefit, peat blocking to increase carbon capture and re wet areas to mitigate against the release of previously stored carbon.

Vegetation management is something that we undertake for numerous clients throughout the uk usually in high compliance environments that have multiple constraints. These can often be ecological, safety or time constraints which can all effect the delivery of a works package. Within this we will undertake tasks that include mulching, mechanised tree removal, steep and wet terrain vegetation clearance working with ecologists to achieve the highest standards possible.
